Look at the blue of that water! Beautiful, calm lake with paddle boats and kayaks to rent. Off to the left side of the lake there are several cute nooks to explore. We visited on a day with heavy wildfire smoke but it was still gorgeous and enjoyable. Really looking forward to going back and staying a weekend to explore more in the area.

Get there early for best parking on a weekend! Lovely water- still some smoke in the valley from the fire north of Sisters. Cabins to rent in summer get booked up 9 months ahead- apparently winter is a bit less busy. Air station, cafe and bathrooms.

Such a pretty lake! It felt crowded as we launched our paddle boards but once we got out on the lake, it was quiet and we were able to spread out and avoid others. If you like cold plunging I would highly recommend it. So good for your body.

A friend of mine that lives in Albany Oregon, took me on this amazing five mile hike around Clear Lake, It was absolutely awesome, the hike itself, even though it's 5 miles was fairly easy, with the usual stops here and there on the trail to observe the beauty of it all It took us about 2 and 1/2 hours, It was breathtaking, the lava field was amazing I've never seen actual lava rock that was created and flowed trouble volcano. I would highly suggest to anybody that is down in that area to take a good hard look at going on this hike, as the Glory of God will surrounded you,as it did me!

Decent resort for boating activities. I would rather prefer the Coldwater cove campgrounds for boating. The waters are much more clearer and shallow and makes for a greater experience. The waters are very cold. Boating fees of $5 apply for personal boat usage in the lake. There are trails which take you through some volcanic rocks!

So far the most beautiful lake I’ve seen living in Bend. Went in the fall. It was breathtaking. Felt like i was in an enchanted forest. Renting a cabin for Memorial Day. Cant wait !

I stayed here Oct 1-3, unfortunately it was just after the gov shutdown and very little staff around. This is a charming, yet rustic place. I booked a cabin with a full kitchen and bathroom. When I arrived, I found the oven was broken and would not turn off. Thankfully, I was able to snag a ranger right before she was leaving. She ended up disconnecting the oven, but I still had access to the stove for cooking. Yes, you have to bring everything: sheets, cookware, dishes, etc. For me, it was worth it to have access to the lake and trails. I did try the restaurant for breakfast one morning. Delicious burrito and very friendly employee. I will definitely be back. I didn’t have time to rent a boat, but next time I will!

Though on this day I was not staying at the resort, I did tour around to get a feel for the property. It was well kept & clean with nice docks, boat rentals & various levels of lodging. The lodging runs from rustic cabins with no running water or bathroom, has a stove top, propane fireplace, $80-$90 to modern cabins with running water, bathrooms, mini fridge, microwave+ ranging from $125-$145. One thing you will not find are boats with gas engines, which allows the lake water to be so pristine, clean, and clear, along with a thriving habitat within the ecosystem. It is also very peaceful as a result, which I found adds to the resorts charm. I had a simple lunch while there, hot dog baskets, which were all beef, with tater tots that were both very good in addition, there were various food items & dishes to choose from. To conclude I would like to thank the staff for answering my questions, telling me about the resort & being helpful & courteous. I plan on staying at Clear Lake Resort soon, and I hope others can visit this beautiful place as well.

Fabulous place to visit. Boat and Kayak rentals, little store and limited menu cafe. Fishing, boating (non motorized) swimming (if you dare; it’s cold, and amazing views with nice trail system all the way around the lake. 5 mile hike around on mostly flat trail with small ups and downs. First half is easiest. Connection to many other trails and walking distance to amazing waterfalls. You can see ancient forest frozen in time under the lake

Came to spend the day here and it was the best! $9 fee to park and spend the day but we didn’t have to pay since the staff advised that our Northwest Pass would suffice. We rented a kayak for $25 an hour or you can get one for $50 for the whole day. We got to paddle all around the lake within an hour. Water is so pretty but super freezing. You can also grab lunch here as there is a small cafe. Advise to get here early because parking does seem to fill up.
